The Crypto.com cryptocurrency platform has been registered by the UK Financial Conduct Authority (FCA).
Based records in the registry dated August 16, the company operates in the country under the name FORIS DAX UK LIMITED. The platform can carry out “certain transactions with crypto assets” in the country.
“This is an important milestone for Crypto.com as the UK represents a strategically important market for us as the government advances its program UK transformation into a global center for technology and investment in crypto assets,” said Chris Marszalek, CEO of Crypto.com.
Recall that in December 2020, the FCA introduced temporary registration mode for cryptocurrency companies. Soon the program was extended until March 31, 2022.
Now approval for your work got 37 companies including Gemini, eToro and Galaxy Digital.
Prior to this, Crypto.com received approval for activities from regulators ItalyGreece, Cyprus, Singapore and Dubai.
