The Crypto.com platform introduced Amy, a personal AI companion based on the ChatGPT chatbot. Representatives of the company told Cryplogger about this.
“Crypto.com is initially testing Amy to collect information before expanding these and future AI-based projects more broadly,” reads the press release.
According to the company, the companion should help users gain knowledge about the crypto industry by providing real-time information about specific tokens and projects. The tool can also find detailed information about price lists and historical events.
Amy is based on deep learning algorithms and OpenAI technologies. However, the tool is additionally trained on specific examples to provide more accurate and relevant results, Crypto.com said.
The pilot project is in beta testing and is currently available to a limited number of users in the section price. Amy’s massive release is scheduled for the coming weeks.
“As with other businesses and sectors, we see incredible potential and opportunities for AI to converge with the crypto industry and our platform in particular,” said Abhi Bisarya, EVP of Products at Crypto.com.
The company stressed that Amy does not provide financial or investment advice. They also warned that the companion is still developing, so it may make mistakes.
“The lessons learned during the pilot project will be applied to the further deployment of Amy, as well as to future Crypto.com AI projects,” the developers assured.
Recall that in April, Binance launched a chatbot based on ChatGPT as part of an online academy.
In January, Crypto.com announced it was cutting 20% of its staff.
