- This is a project in support of the Swiss team
- You can buy art tokens through the Credit Suisse CSX app
Credit Suisse and the Swiss Football Association launch a joint project. This is an NFT collection to support the women’s soccer team.
So, the collection is based on the Ethereum blockchain and includes 756 art tokens. They represent the top players of the Swiss women’s national team.
Interestingly, such NFTs can only be purchased through the Credit Suisse CSX banking app. Bidding will last from July 11 to August 31.
Daniel Gorrera, head of digital assets in Switzerland at Credit Suisse, shared more details about the new project. He stated that the bank is starting to explore a new area of digital assets. He also hinted that Credit Suisse is ready to become a regulated partner for blockchain projects.
“When we developed the collection, we deliberately tried to make it easier for the user to participate in the evolving world of NFT. It is also the beginning of a journey towards the innovative use of digital assets in new types of funding and service models. In this space, Credit Suisse is well positioned for issuing parties looking for regulated partners.”
Recall that during the spring banking crisis, Credit Suisse ran into problems. Therefore, they had to go under the control of the bank-competitor UBS. Before these events, Credit Suisse began to participate in venture capital investments in crypto projects and supported the Taurus startup.
