Creator of Grumpy Cat token accused of copyright infringement

The expert discovered the address that created 114 “fraudulent” meme tokens

Glauber Contessoto, the creator of the token based on the Grumpy Cat meme, received NFT notification about copyright infringement.

The letter states that Grumpy Cat Limited, which owns the “sad cat” trademark, did not authorize or consent to the use of the images to promote the digital asset.

“Don’t believe these scammers and their lies. No legal issues have been resolved. Grumpy Cat Limited will never approve such fraudulent coins,” wrote the creator of the meme.
