Coinbase will expand the list of countries with access to the commission-free trading service

Bitcoin exchange Coinbase will open access to the Coinbase One service in the UK, Ireland and Germany.

The paid subscription product ($29.99 per month) offers commission-free trading, 24/7 customer support and increased staking rewards.

Company reported TechCrunch about plans to launch the service in 31 more European countries.

For Coinbase, subscription products represent a “predictable revenue stream.” It complements the volatile trading commission income that fluctuates during different phases of the market cycle.

The U.S. firm’s revenue from subscription services in the first quarter of 2023 was more than double that of the same period last year. amounting to ~$362 million.

Coinbase began testing the service on a paid subscription basis in late 2021. Initially, it was available to a limited number of users.

Earlier, the American crypto exchange announced the expansion of its line of services for clients from Singapore.
