The United States threatened China with sanctions for the supply of chips to Russia
US government will consider the possibility of imposing sanctions against Chinese companies for the supply of chips to the Russian Federation.

Scientists have taught the algorithm to recognize the emotions of pigs by grunting
Researchers created artificial intelligence algorithm for determining the state of pigs by their grunting.
The scientists trained a neural network to identify positive or negative emotions of animals using audio recordings and data about their behavior in various situations. They then analyzed the acoustic signatures of 7,414 calls from 400 pigs. Most of the recordings were made on farms, others were obtained from experimental enclosures where pigs were given toys, food and unfamiliar objects.
Researchers have found that in negative situations, animals squawk. At the same time, a short grunt often means positive emotions.
Currently, scientists are looking for developers who can turn the algorithm into an application. They believe the program will help farmers improve the welfare of their animals.
