BlockGPT, a recently launched Web3 company, announced on May 11 the launch of its artificial intelligence (AI) “chat to earn” service and related blockchain ecosystem.
According to the company, BlockGPT aims to build a decentralized token-driven chatbot on the blockchain with functionality similar to OpenAI’s ChatGPT.
$BGPT is not the only token in #BlockGPT ecosystem. We’re excited to introduce $AIBGPT, a free airdrop token belonging to the BlockGPT community. It has a total supply of 10,000,000,000,000.

The launch of the AI model is accompanied by the offering of two tokens: a governance token called BGPT and a meme token called AIBGPT. Both are reportedly based on PancakeSwap, a decentralized exchange that allows users to trade BEP-20 tokens.
BlockGPT offers a “earn in chat” reward system along with tokens. According to the press release, this will allow users to earn non-fungible tokens (NFTs) and prize tokens for participating in chat sessions with the AI model.
The white paper posted on the BlockGPT website states that the company uses more than six generative pre-trained transformer (GPT) models on the platform and that they were trained using a proprietary dataset.
The paper does not contain any information about the size of the corpus, the number of parameters used to train the model, or any other details related to AI technical specifications, but claims that it was specifically designed to answer questions related to the blockchain. requests:
“BlockGPT has been trained using an extensive set of blockchain related data, resources and research papers.[…] As a result, BlockGPT is now able to understand and answer a wide range of questions related to Blockchain technology.”
The document also states that the BlockGPT model will allow developers to enable “AI inference on the network through its core AI inference engine” and that it uses the Synapse engine to provide “a robust foundation for building DApps and smart contracts that use AI technology.”

The launch of BlockGPT comes amid a flurry of activity in both AI and token space. Memcoins like Dogecoin (DOGE) and Pepe (PEPE) have made headlines recently, and competition between OpenAI’s ChatGPT, Google’s Bard, and a host of other chatbot offerings has dominated tech news for months.
