According to the BlockFi platform, there was a leak of user data hosted in the HubSpot CRM. Now the attackers have information about the names, email addresses and phone numbers of the company’s customers.

“HubSpot confirms that an unauthorized third party has gained access to certain BlockFi customer data hosted on their platform,” it said in a statement.
Information about the leak was still on March 18th. Customers are assured that passwords and documents have not been compromised and their funds are safe.
The incident is currently being investigated jointly by HubSpot and BlockFi.
Customers are advised to set up two-factor authentication and be vigilant against scammers.
The crypto community considers it unwise for BlockFi to use HubSpot to manage customer data. Many are sure that this service is not suitable for companies engaged in the financial sector.
