
Cryptocurrency exchange Bitget intends to invest $10 million in the Blockchain4Youth educational project. Argentine football star Lionel Messi will be the face of the project. This is reported in blog trading platform.
Over the next five years, the Bitget Academy educational project team will develop blockchain courses and lectures in partnership with major universities around the world. In addition, Bitget will introduce scholarships for young blockchain developers in the coming months.
The first classes within Blockchain4Youth will be held in May 2023 on the campuses of leading universities in Taiwan, Vietnam and Thailand.
The initiative is aimed at Millennials and Generation Z. According to Bitget, their share among cryptocurrency holders is 67%.

To promote the project, the exchange entered into a partnership with football player Lionel Messi.
“Bitget and Messi are the perfect partnership on and off the pitch. The Messi Foundation helps children and teenagers in difficult situations, and Bitget is committed to passing on valuable knowledge about blockchain and Web3 to the younger generation,” said Gracie Chen, Managing Director of Bitget, commented on the partnership.
