The popularity of non-fungible tokens on the Bitcoin network has declined a bit recently. But the new technology is still generating hype. This is eloquently evidenced by a new record: the Bitcoin blockchain has become the second largest NFT network.

According to CryptoSlam, the Bitcoin blockchain has surpassed competitors such as Solana and Mythos Chain in terms of NFT sales.
Over the past 30 days, $167.47 million worth of NFTs have been sold on the network (secondary sales). But the undisputed leader remains, of course, the Ethereum network. Sales for the same period here amounted to $395.95 million.
Volumes on the Solana network over the past 30 days amounted to only $55.8 million. In fourth place is Mythos Chain with a volume of $35.4 million.
Most Popular Collections
The collection of Bitcoin Ordinals showed the greatest success – sales here reached $26.3 million in 30 days. By the way, this is the fourth largest collection of sales among all networks for the period under review.

Next come the Space Pepes and Bitcoin Frogs projects. In 30 days, they traded $12.24 million and $9.43 million. In the overall ranking of the collection, they took 11th and 15th places.
Bitcoin-NFTs have led to some ideological split in the bitcoin community. Proponents of blockchain purity are staunch opponents of the new trend. And they even call for a ban on such NFTs.
