Bitcoin exchange Binance has announced plans to host a reality show called Build The Block in the metaverse. The audience and a panel of judges will determine which of the 12 Web3 development teams is worthy of becoming the next major project in the field.

The start of the reality show is scheduled for May 12. New episodes will be available on Tuesdays and Fridays on Binance Live and YouTube.

Among the participants are: Mind Network, Kryptoskatt, Sandbags Protocol, Wallet Guard, Notebook labs, ZKPass, PiP, The Harvest, Braket Labs, dappOS and two more unidentified projects.
Other details of Build The Block are unknown at the time of writing.
Recall that at the end of the first quarter of 2023, the value of assets managed by the venture division of Binance reached $9 billion.
In November 2022, Binance Labs committed $1 billion to the Web3 Recovery Fund. Since then, the structure has provided funding to 14 companies, and about 60 more candidates are under consideration.
