The Central Bank of Laos has authorized Lao Digital Assets Exchange (LDX) and Bitqik to operate as regulated cryptocurrency platforms. The issued licenses cover the entire range of brokerage and trading services with digital assets. Laotian Times.

According to the Governor of the Central Bank Soneksai Sitfaksai, in order to create a regulatory framework for cryptocurrencies, the regulator’s staff consulted with the business community, stakeholders and government agencies.
The Central Bank will begin to oversee the activities of the two platforms in order to ensure the protection of investors and improve the developed norms.
