Alibaba Cloud will cooperate with layer-1 Avalanche blockchain to run Cloudverse. This platform will help companies set up, launch and maintain their own metaverse spaces on the Avalanche blockchain.
The Cloudverse service is built using the best technology available for metaversive initiatives and will be available to millions of Alibaba Cloud customers and billions of users worldwide. Avalanche will provide the technology to create the metaverse, while Alibaba Cloud will provide the computing and storage.
The launch of the platform reflects the deepening relationship between Alibaba Cloud and Avalanche. The organizations started cooperation in December 2022. Then the first provided infrastructure technologies and tools so that users from Asia could run validators on the Avalanche network. Together, they are driving blockchain adoption in Asia, where Avalanche is gaining more visibility and presence.
