DeFi protocol team Asymertix launched an early adopter bonus program that will distribute 10 million ASX ($3.4 million at time of publication) from May to August 2023. It is reported blog project.

Asymetrix is an Ethereum staking protocol with asymmetric returns: the pool does not distribute rewards in proportion to deposits, but regularly distributes them to random winners.

Asymetrix users deposit tokens stETH into a smart contract that accumulates the rewards received from Lido Finance.

Once a week, the project selects three random winners using Chainlink VRF and awards them 50%, 30% and 20% of the accumulated stETH, respectively.

Early adopters automatically receive ASX governance tokens every 24 hours until the end of the bonus program. Their holders will be able to vote for protocol parameter changes.

The current profitability of the bonus program is 30,000 ASX per day – 136% per annum from a deposit in stETH. ASX is trading on Uniswap at a price $0.34.

The developers launched Asymetrix on the Ethereum mainnet on April 22, 2023, shortly after the Audit Hacken. As of press time, 104 users have contributed 1460 stETH to the protocol, with the winners of the first two rounds splitting 1.07 stETH.

Recall that in March, a lone miner mined a bitcoin block and received 6.5 BTC – $ 153,000 at the exchange rate at that time.
