According to statement, the team will distribute 44% of the total supply of 10 billion ARB tokens to early adopters and investors. In addition, the community and the DAO will receive assets that will allow them to control 56% of the votes.

Data: Arbitrum.

The first stage, which will take place on March 23, includes the distribution of 12.75% of the total number of coins.

“For me, the most exciting part is decentralization, the fact that Offchain Labs will no longer have any control over the future of the network. We will remain a service provider, and if the DAO calls us to create software, we will do it, ”commented Stephen Goldfeder, CEO of the project developer.

Arbitrum users can check the number of coins available for distribution to their addresses by link.

In February, the developers of the L2 solution Optimism announced the second airdrop. During the first distribution of OP tokens, the team distributed almost 232 million coins in May 2022.

Recall that in January, the daily volume of transactions in Optimism exceeded the corresponding indicator of Arbitrum.
