Nita placed an order at Vintage Pub in Bucharest using Binance Pay.
The investor’s post attracted the attention of the community, including the head of the Binance crypto exchange, Changpeng Zhao. He replied to the tweet and promised to try the local pizza the next time he was in Romania.
13 years ago, 1 pizza for 10,000 BTC.
Today, 10,000 pizza for 1 BTC. Still a legend!
That’s a lot of pizza now I think about it. I assume I can have some pizza when I am in Romania again.😂 https://t.co/0PCDO7PVCY

Probably, Nita organized a pizza distribution party right on the streets of the city. Some users shared photos from the event.

Every year on May 22, the cryptocurrency community celebrates Bitcoin Pizza Day. The reason for the celebration was a landmark event for the industry, when in 2010 the programmer Laszlo Heinitz I bought two Papa John’s pizzas for 10,000 BTC.
2023 was no exception – many crypto projects held promotions and draws in honor of the holiday.
Recall that in May 2020, Laszlo Heinitz said that he actually spent much more than 10,000 BTC on pizza.
In 2021, the leadership of the Dutch franchise Domino’s Pizza offered employees to receive a salary in the first cryptocurrency in honor of Bitcoin Pizza Day.
