- Aave is now available on the Scroll Testnet

The Aave lending protocol has integrated the L2 protocol to scale the Ethereum Scroll.
“We are excited to announce that Aave, one of the leading DeFi fundamental pillars, is now available on our testnet!” Scroll said in a statement.
Scroll also said in a statement that Aave is a driving force in the DeFi space, continuing to innovate and push the boundaries on Ethereum. Aave’s commitment to decentralization goes hand in hand with the protocol’s core values.
“The deployment will open the door to a range of new use cases made possible by the latest innovations in ZK technology. Collaboration is at the heart of our mission and is ultimately what continues to drive innovation in Ethereum.”
In the middle of last month, the Aave community voted to deploy the third version of the protocol on the zkSync Era network. This idea was supported by 99.78% of the votes. Even earlier, the lending protocol considered the idea of connecting to other blockchain ecosystems. The community voted for her.
And in March 2023, Scroll was able to raise $50 million from Polychain Capital, Sequoia China, Bain Capital and several other investors. Back then, Scroll’s total funding was $83 million.
