The Lithuanian company Dadex is creating a global fundraising project Project Phoenix, within which it plans to raise 1 billion euros to help the Ukrainian people using modern technologies, including NFT works.
This was announced by the representative of Dadex in Eastern Europe Denis Tot during the presentation of the project at the Media Center Ukraine – Ukrinform.
“We are starting Project Phoenix. Over the past month, we have managed to complete the development of our platform, through which it will be possible to make donations for Ukrainians. In addition, we have launched 8 call centers in Europe, which people can call by phone and also make charitable contributions,” said Denis Tot.
According to him, the launch of the platform is scheduled for September 30. Dadex plans to raise one billion euros within one year. The main contributions are expected to come from NFT technology. In particular, 1 million virtual paintings will be created, divided into 14 releases. The starting cost of each of them will be from €250 to €100 thousand. All works of digital art will have their own digital certificate.
It is specified that within the framework of the Phoenix project, every philanthropist who bought an NFT picture will be able to sell it on the blockchain market at least 20% more expensive in 6 months. At the same time, 20% of each resale will be donated again to Ukraine.
Dadex is a holding company operating various blockchain projects. It employs about 150 workers worldwide. It is headquartered in London and has offices in Italy, USA, UAE.
