TripleA held a massive study crypto industry. It shows that in May 2023, the number of cryptocurrency owners reached 420 million. This is approximately 4.2% of the total population.
Here are the 5 countries with the most crypto users:
- USA (46 million).
- India (27 million).
- Pakistan (26 million).
- Nigeria (22 million).
- Vietnam (20 million).
But in percentage terms, a different picture emerges. Analysts analyzed the percentage of ownership of cryptocurrencies from the total population of the country. It turned out that in the US, digital money is used by about 13% of citizens, and in Vietnam by more than 20%. In Ukraine, this figure was more than 10%. This means that over 3.7 million of our countrymen own cryptocurrencies.
Between 2015 and 2023, the price of the main cryptocurrency BTC increased by 173,000%. And 2021 became a record year for the annual growth rate, when the rate jumped by 60%.
TripleA predicts that the cryptocurrency market will grow by approximately 56% per year. And at the same time, the adoption of digital money. So, more than 95% of US merchants said they consider the introduction of crypto payments their priority. And brands that started accepting such payments saw a 327% increase in ROI. Also, the number of their clients increased by 40%.
