Developer Elias Simos analyzed the first 24,500 blocks after The Merge and concluded that 18% of the blocks on the Ethereum network were generated using MEV. What is it and what is the value?
We looked at the first ~24k blocks post-Merge and compared the performance of block proposers that are running mev-boost vs those that aren’t.

MEV-boost is a modified version for Proof-of-stake. Validators using MEV-boost were able to get 122% more profit. The blocks they generated contained 41.4% more transactions.
Also, MEV-boost made it possible to exclude empty and skipped blocks. Among those validators that did not use this functionality, the analyst found them in 1.2% and 1.5% of cases, respectively.
Based on the data mevboost.orgabsolute leadership in MEV belongs to the Flashbots service (80.98% share),
The remaining 19.02% were distributed among six other repeaters – bloXroute Max Profit, bloXroute Ethical, bloXroute Regulated, Blocknative and Eden.
The only concern that arises is the failure of the ecosystem due to the inoperability of a single point.
Users can draw similar conclusions based on data from Santiment. They showed that 46.15% of all Proof-of-Stake nodes in Ethereum are two addresses.
